Research Statement

Research focuses on the ethical and spiritual dimensions of Islam, with particular emphasis on Sufism and its relevance to contemporary social and moral challenges. The work combines close textual analysis of the Qur’an, Hadith and classical Sufi literature with interdisciplinary approaches to examine themes such as human dignity, workplace ethics, social justice etc.

Study of Central Asian intellectual and cultural traditions in relation to South Asia, with an emphasis on bridging classical scholarship and contemporary discourse.
