Centre of Central Asian Studies, University of Kashmir will organize an Extension lecture on  " Iran in/and Central Asia" by Prof. GULSHAN DIETL.

Professor Gulshan Dietl retired as a Professor at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, where she also served as the Director of the Gulf Studies Programme and the Chairperson of the Centre for West Asian and African Studies. She was a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence at the Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, New York (1993-94), a Guest Research Fellow at the Copenhagen Peace Research Institute (1998-99), a Visiting Professor at the University of Kashmir (2004), an Associate Director of Research at the ondation de la Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, Paris (2008), a Visiting Professor at the University of Southern Denmark (2010), a Visiting Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi (2012-13) and an ICSSR Senior Fellow at the Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses (2013-2015).

She has published many books and research articles in various International and National Journals and has contributed to many book chapters.
